Light
Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight to full sun.
Indoors, place near a south- or west-facing window.
Outdoor Echeverias enjoy morning sunlight but should be shaded from harsh afternoon sun to prevent leaf scorch.
Water
Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
Avoid letting water sit on the rosette, as this can cause rot.
Reduce watering in winter when the plant is dormant.
Humidity
Prefers low to moderate humidity.
High humidity can increase the risk of fungal diseases.
Temperature
Ideal temperature range: 18-27°C.
Not frost-tolerant; keep above 4°C.
Soil
Use a well-draining succulent or cactus potting mix.
Add sand or perlite for extra drainage.
Fertilisation
Feed with a diluted succulent or cactus fertiliser once a month during the growing season (spring and summer).
Do not fertilise during winter dormancy.
Repotting
Repot every 2-3 years or when root-bound.
Choose a shallow pot with good drainage holes.
Pruning
Remove dead or dried leaves from the base of the plant to keep it tidy.
Prune flower stalks after blooming to redirect energy to the plant.
Propagation
Easily propagated through leaf cuttings, offsets, or stem cuttings.
Allow cuttings to callus over for a few days before planting in dry soil.
