Fittonia ‘Nerve Plant’ White and Green is an attractive houseplant known for its distinctive foliage. The leaves are a rich green with striking white veins, creating a beautiful and intricate pattern that resembles a network of nerves. This compact, low-growing plant is perfect for adding texture and visual interest to indoor spaces, making it a great choice for terrariums, small pots, or as an accent in mixed plant arrangements.

Light

Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate low light but may lose some vibrancy in its foliage.

Water

Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top half-inch of soil feels dry. Avoid letting the plant sit in water to prevent root rot.

Humidity

Thrives in high humidity environments. Increase humidity by misting regularly, using a humidifier, or placing the pot on a tray of water with pebbles.

Temperature

Ideal temperature range is 18-27°C. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 16°C.

Soil

Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a blend of peat moss, perlite, and regular potting soil.

Fertiliser

Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Do not fertilize in the winter when the plant's growth slows down.

Pruning

Pinch back the tips of the plant to encourage bushier growth and remove any dead or yellowing leaves.
