The Medinilla Magnifica is also known as the Rose Grape or Pink Lantern. These plants definitely have the wow factor. They produce large leathery leaves which have veins running throughout them. They also develop long pink stems which hold lovely looking flowers that bloom for around 3/4 months. The stems can also grow up to 50cm long!
Where do I come from?
I am native to the Philippines.
Light
They require bright indirect light to thrive. Keep away from harsh direct sunlight.
Water
They need to be watered regularly and don’t like to dry out between waterings, so keep soil slightly moist.
Humidity
They enjoy a warm and humid room, so a kitchen or bathroom would be a great place.

I come in a 14cm pot.
They will come with a minimum of 2 buds.
They either have 2,3 or 4 buds.
