String of Bananas is a popular trailing succulent, known for its cascading vines adorned with banana-shaped, green leaves.
Where do I come from?
I am native to South Africa.
Prefers bright, indirect light. A spot near a window with filtered sunlight is ideal. While it can tolerate some direct sunlight, prolonged exposure can cause the leaves to sunburn.
Like most succulents, the String of Bananas is drought-tolerant and doesn't need frequent watering.
Allow the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry out between watering. Over-watering can lead to root rot.
Water less frequently during the winter months when the plant's growth slows down.
Tolerates average home humidity. However, it's essential to ensure the soil isn't too damp in high humidity environments.
Am I pet friendly?
Unfortunately I am not pet friendly
What size am I?
I am in a 15cm pot & trail approx 25cm.
