The Pachira Aquatica is also known as the Money Tree as it is said to bring good fortune. They are a popular houseplant known for its lush umbrella shaped leaves and thick trunk. They are also easy to care for, making them great for beginners!
Where do I come from?
I am native to Central and South America.
They prefer bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can scorch their leaves.
Allow the top 1-2 inches of the soil to dry out before watering. Water less frequently in winter when the plant's growth slows down.
This plant does well in average household humidity. However, if your home's air is particularly dry, consider placing the plant on a humidity tray or using a room humidifier.
During the growing season (spring and summer), feed the plant once a month with a diluted general-purpose houseplant fertiliser. Reduce feeding in the fall and winter.
Am I pet friendly?
For any pet parents out there - this houseplant is non-toxic.
What size am I?
I am 150cm tall.
